He came, tucked himself away, and then threw the stripper to the bed.
“You’re sleeping with me tonight. When I want to fuck, be wet. If you touch me without me telling you, I’ll toss you out. You’re leaving in the morning and I never want to see you again. Got it?”
“Is that all?” the stripper asked.
Jace curled his lip.
He should have just thrown her out now. He didn't need a goddamn woman talking back to him. It was much easier to just switch them up like a change of clothes. Less mess and less fucking care.
five.
Jordyn shadowed Mr. Strokner for most of the morning. She felt uncomfortable seeing him for the first few hours. When she did, her face turned red and she couldn’t help but think about what had happened. She was certain she had given him the wrong idea with the way she touched herself and moved on him. The way he came… the way she came… it had never happened to Jordyn like that before.
The worst part was that she kind of wanted to do it again. Of course, she would need to see that picture of Jace again. The sexy mystery of the biker. The idea of him being in prison for murder. Being released. Everything about it was just so different from what Jordyn knew in her life. She was used to a constant repeat of struggle and suffering. Right down to this opportunity with Mr. Strokner and his company. It should have been the dream job she had worked so hard for, but it wasn’t. And it never would be.
Jordyn had a gut feeling that things were going to get worse, and her fears quickly came true. In between meetings, Jordyn saw two clients out of a meeting room, and she returned and found Mr. Strokner sitting in his chair at the head of the table. Only, he was facing her, looking relaxed, his legs open.
“Shut the door,” he said.
Jordyn did as told.
The blinds were already closed.
“Shut the lights off.”
Jordyn reached out and turned the lights off. It was pitch black except for the slivers of light that came through the slits in the blinds.
The chair squeaked as Mr. Strokner rose from it.
“Face the door,” he whispered. “Spread your legs.”
Jordyn did everything. She felt Mr. Strokner place his hands to her hips. He pulled at her, allowing her to feel his hardness.
“I can’t stop thinking about it,” he said. “What you did to me. Did to yourself. You want me to fuck you so bad, Jordyn. You want me to let you in on my dirty secrets. You want to know more about my little side projects. And fuck, Jordyn, I want that…”
Mr. Strokner reached up and touched her cheek with the tips of his fingers. He moved the hair from her face. He came forward and placed his cheek to hers. Jordyn felt his stale breath on her face.
“Is that what you want?” he whispered.
“Yes, sir,” Jordyn said.
“You want me to fuck you. Let you in. Pay you more. I bet that’s it, right? You want money.”
“Yes… is that… wrong?”
“Of course not, Jordyn. I know what’s happening to your dear grandmother. But I don’t care about that right now. I care about your wet, tight pussy. The way you remind me of my daughter. It drives me wild. It doesn’t let me sleep. And no matter how hard I squeeze my cock, the feeling doesn’t go away. Okay?”
“Okay,” Jordyn whispered.
She found a benefit of being in the dark now. It was so she could cry. Tears filled her eyes and started to fall. As long as Mr. Strokner didn’t touch her cheeks, he wouldn't know. Right now, he had one hand cupping her breast and the other between her legs.
“I’ll fuck you soon,” Mr. Strokner said. “When I’m ready. I at least know you’re ready. But for the other stuff… you want in, you got it. I’m going to send you on a little mission. Right now. You want to see it all, Jordyn? Then you can go see it. You want to see Back Down Devil?”
Those words caused her body to tense and shiver at the same time. She accidentally thrust back against Mr. Strokner and he throbbed.
"Damn, I know you want me, but I told you that you'll get it when I want you to get it. So relax and follow my instructions about the MC."
Back Down Devil… Jace…
“Yes, sir,” Jordyn whispered.
“Good girl. Now, turn on the light.”
Jordyn lifted her left hand and wiped her cheeks and then turned on the light. She felt Mr. Strokner move away from her. She put her hands to the door and waited for the next command.
“Turn around,” Mr. Strokner said.
Jordyn took a deep breath and turned around, hoping she had regained her composure. Mr. Strokner eyed her and then reached down for his briefcase. He put it on the table and opened it. He took out a folder. The folder from his desk. With the picture of Jace on it.
When she saw it, her panties became uncomfortable. Jace already did incredible things to her body, and he would forever be in her sexual memory even if she never met him.
“I want you to take this folder to Jace,” Mr. Strokner said.
“I’m sorry?”
Mr. Strokner lifted the folder and held it out. “You heard me, Jordyn. You want to see this side? Go see it. Take this folder to Jace. Tell him it’s from me. Then come back to me. I’ll be waiting in the car for you. Then we’ll see what happens…”
The smile on Mr. Strokner’s face made Jordyn uneasy. She reached out and took the folder. She slipped out of the conference room and somehow walked her way out of the building. It was like someone else was in control of her movements. All her mind could focus on was Jace’s picture. She was tempted to open the folder to see what she was getting herself involved in, but she resisted. Out of respect for Jace and Back Down Devil. And even out of respect for Mr. Strokner.
A black car was waiting for Jordyn. She got into the backseat and it started to drive. Her heart raced the entire time. She hadn’t been this nervous when interviewing for the job with Mr. Strokner. Blurting out something about Back Down Devil seemed to have changed everything Jordyn wanted. With each passing mile she started to realize that she would probably never end up the way her grandmother intended. As some strong business woman with a good career. Instead, she was this… and this didn’t quite have a title yet.
At least it was exciting.
The black car pulled into a gate and they drove past a few neglected buildings. The car made a turn and stopped. Jordyn opened the back door and climbed out. She saw a building in front of her. Motorcycles lined the front of the building. It was too quiet, and she got an eerie feeling that danger could strike at any given second without warning.
The moment Jordyn closed the door, the vehicle sped away. She turned and cried out as the black car sped away and out of sight. Jordyn clung to the folder and walked to the door. And then all of a sudden, she realized the serious chance that Mr. Strokner could be setting her up to be hurt... or killed.
Jordyn looked at the picture of Jace and told herself she had to at least meet him. Even if he was going to kill her.
He just got out of prison for murder…
Well, alleged murder…
Jordyn opened the door and went inside.
The clubhouse looked like a bomb had gone off. There were three men with mops, buckets, and trashcans. They wore bare, black leather cuts. All three men stopped what they were doing and looked at Jordyn.
“I have a delivery,” Jordyn said and held out the folder. “For… Jace…”
The three men quickly looked back and forth at each other.
Beyond the main bar was a hallway. Echoing was the sound of heels hitting the ground. They were moving fast. Jordyn watched as a tall, beautiful woman appeared. She was topless and had large breasts. She wore pants that were obviously meant for a man. Her red heels didn’t match the pants, but it didn’t matter because everyone was staring at her naked chest.
“I’m out of here,” she said. “Stop by tonight for a dance.” She giggled. When she saw Jordyn, she paused. “Who are you?”
“Jordyn… I need to see Jace…”
“Take a number,” the woman said and giggled again as she left the clubhouse.
Jordyn took a few steps and looked down the hallway. She checked over her shoulder at the men cleaning up.
“Can I?”
“I wouldn’t,” one of them warned.
“Wouldn’t what?” a voice bellowed.
From the darkness and shadows of the hallway, a figured appeared. The first thing Jordyn saw was his face. That same sexy face and killer eyes. Then came the body. At first, Jordyn refused to believe Jace wasn’t wearing a shirt. But sure as hell, there was no shirt on his body. And whatever she tried to envision in her pathetic mind was nothing compared to the steel like muscle that was right there in front of her.
A large tattoo covered the left side of his chest, Jace’s body looked more cut than built. A small part of Jordyn's mind wondered if Jace was even human. He was that good looking. He wore jeans that hung a few inches low and the cuts of his stomach muscles disappeared right into his pants, and Jordyn mentally begged to see more. So much more.
“You have a visitor,” one of the guys called out.
“I see that,” Jace said. Those blue eyes tore through all her thoughts.
“Jordyn,” she managed to whisper. “My name is Jordyn. I… I have something…”
“I heard your name once already,” Jace said. “What’s in your hand?”
“A folder.”
Jace took the folder and a couple of his fingers brushed against hers and Jordyn’s toes curled in her shoes.
“What the fuck is this?” Jace asked. He looked at the folder and then opened it. He slammed it shut right away and began to wave it in the air. “Tell me right now… what the fuck is this?”
Jordyn gasped. “I was told…”
“Is this a fucking joke? Who the fuck are you?”
Jace inched closer. Jordyn forced herself not to look at his chest. His tattoo. His muscles. But looking into his eyes was almost as bad.
She started to shake her head. “I’m sorry… Mr. Strokner…”
“Mr. Strokner?” Jace growled. “Motherfucker.” Jace reached out and grabbed Jordyn by the arm. “Come with me, right now.”
If she were Jordyn from two months ago, she would have pulled away and ran from the clubhouse. Then again, if she really were Jordyn from two months ago, she would have never put herself in a position like this to begin with.
But Jace was too sexy to say no to. Not to mention the grip he had on her arm. There was no escaping his vice grip as he dragged her through the hallway. Jordyn tried to keep up, her lips moving, but no words were coming to her.
Jace opened a door and threw Jordyn in, sending her flying into a bed where she slammed into a naked woman on her hands and knees. The woman wiggled and looked back at her.
“Hey, you brought a friend,” the woman flirted.
Jordyn couldn’t believe her eyes. She could see everything. The woman's smooth ass. Her glistening slit. Then Jordyn realized she was still touching a naked stranger and quickly jumped back.
“Get the fuck out of here,” Jace said.
The woman turned and sat on the bed. She looked at Jordyn. Then to Jace. “Who is this? Your accountant?”
“You heard what I said,” Jace said. “You’ve fulfilled your purpose. Get the fuck out of my room before I drag you out by your hair.”
“You didn’t even fuck me yet,” the woman said. She looked at Jordyn. “Well, not my pussy yet..."
“Out,” Jace growled.
The woman stood and walked to the door. She opened it and looked back. “Maybe I’ll go find Blaine.”
“Yeah, you do that,” Jace said. “Trust me, he won’t be sticking just his dick in your ass…”
“Fuck you,” the woman said.
She slammed the door and silence fell. Jordyn tried to take it all in. And she finally came to terms with the fact that she was alone in Jace’s room with him. He threw the folder to the bed and grabbed a white t-shirt. Jordyn felt her body protesting such a bad decision, but then she saw the way the white t-shirt hugged Jace’s body and it wasn’t all that of a bad idea.
Bottom line - Jace was fucking gorgeous.
“You brought me that folder,” Jace said. “From Strokner?”
“Yes,” Jordyn said.
“Why?”
“I don’t know. He told me to.”
“And who are you?”
“Jordyn…”
“Yeah, I fucking get that part of this. Christ. Who are you?”
“I work for Mr. Strokner.”
“Okay. First off, this Mr. Strokner shit ends right now. Say that again and I’ll throw you out of this room. Got it?”
Jordyn nodded.
Why did she like that he talked like this to her?
“Second, you work for him? His company?”
“Yes. I’m new. I'm his assistant.”
Jace curled his lip. “He ever tell you about his daughter?”
“Yes…”
All the time. Especially when he’s touching me.
“He’s never had any assistants before,” Jace said. “How the fuck do I know this isn’t a setup?”
“I don’t even know what’s in the folder,” Jordyn said. “I didn’t look.”
“Why?”
“Respect… for you and the motorcycle club.”
Jace scoffed. “What do you know about the life?”
“Nothing.”
“Then why did he choose you to bring this?”
“I don’t know. I’m sorry if I’ve upset you. Or interrupted anything.”
Jordyn started to slink back toward the door. Jace slammed his hand off the door and shook his head. “I’m intrigued right now. You want to know what’s in the folder?”
“Sure.”
“My record. That’s what it is. My criminal record. All the bullshit. Now, why did Strokner have that?”
“I don’t know.”
“Why you?”
“I saw the folder… on his desk…”
I touched myself while staring at the picture of you…
“You’re hiding something from me,” Jace said.
“No…”
“Don’t lie to me. You know I just got out of prison for murder, right?”
“Alleged murder,” Jordyn whispered.
Jace smiled.
Jordyn raced to memorize the smile. She raced to memorize the two little dimples that formed. She wondered if she’d ever see that smile again.
“You’re interesting, Jordyn,” Jace said. “What’s in it for you?”
“A job.”
“There’s more.”
“Maybe so,” Jordyn said.
“You don’t want to tell me?”
Jordyn scrambled. Her bottom lip quivered and she managed to mutter, “I don’t know…”
“Well, think about it,” Jace said. “I don’t have fucking time to waste.” He opened the door. “Get the fuck out of my room and get the fuck out of this clubhouse. Tell your fucking boss I said thanks for the folder. Next time, tell him to grow a set of balls and come see me.”
Before Jordyn knew what was happening, Jace grabbed her arm again and pushed her from the room. The door slammed behind her and that was that. Her one moment with Jace was what she probably should have expected, but it didn't help the wild fantasies that had been running rampant in her mind and throughout her body.
Jordyn walked back out to the front of the clubhouse. The same three guys were still cleaning the same mess. Jordyn didn’t even say goodbye to them. She left the clubhouse and gasped when she saw a black car waiting for her. It was a different car. She opened the door only to find yet another surprise waiting for her.
Mr. Strokner.
Jordyn got into the car and shut the door, but the car didn’t move.
“What happened?” he asked.
“Nothing. I gave him the folder. He got really angry. He dragged me to his room and yelled at me some more. He wanted me to answer questions about my job f
or you, but I didn't."
“You refused? For me? For us?” Mr. Strokner reached out and touched Jordyn’s cheek.
“I didn’t refuse… he was just…”
“He’s upset because he knows his time is up,” Mr. Strokner said. “That’s all. The mighty fall hard, Jordyn. The smart ones last longer. And those with money, well we stay forever.” Mr. Strokner smiled big. It was a horrifying smile compared to Jace's gorgeous grin. “Now, we’re here, together and alone. I’m ready to fuck you now, Jordyn.” He slid across the seat toward her. “But I need more.”
“More?” Jordyn asked. She was terrified.
“Yes,” Mr. Strokner said. He traced her face. “I need all of you… forever…”
Jordyn closed her eyes and felt Mr. Strokner kiss her neck. She felt tears building up in her eyes.
This is not what my life was supposed to be.
six.
Jace grabbed the folder and threw it across his room. He fucking knew what was in it. He had been there for all the arrests and the arraignments and the hearings and the trials. It was all paperwork and complete bullshit. What bothered Jace was not knowing why Strokner had it. The feeling he got was that this was more than just a mind game. There was more to this delivery.
Strokner was sending a message, trying to rattle Jace. Sending a sexy woman to deliver the folder was probably the best way to do that. Christ, even her name was beautiful. Jordyn. Her dark hair and innocent appearance almost had him fooled, but then he looked into her eyes and he could see the desire in them. She could do things for him that these strippers weren't capable of.
Jace crouched down over the folder and touched the paperwork. How did Strokner get a hold of his personal files? Did Chief Jerry give Strokner the folder? And if so, for what purpose? Maybe it was Strokner who got the judge to finally get off his lazy ass and get Jace out of prison. That was definitely possible. Strokner loved to do little favors for the MC to keep himself relevant.
It was obvious Strokner had no intention of coming to the clubhouse and acting like a man. No, he preferred to be behind the scenes and let his so-called money and guilt about his daughter do the talking.
“Fuck,” Jace whispered.
He needed to talk to her. He needed to talk to Jordyn.
